Thank you to everyone who attended the 2023 SEAoT State Conference in Houston the other week. It was a great celebration of SEAoT, the structural engineering profession, and the City of Houston. SEAoT Houston is back on our regular meeting schedule now that the state conference is over. Our next monthly lunch meeting will be October 19th and will be held in person at the Maggiano’s in Memorial City Mall. Our speaker will be Jason Harlan with Nucor who will be sharing some design optimization advice and showcase value engineering opportunities in steel design. Make sure to attend this in person lunch meeting to stay tied in with the Houston structural engineering community!
