At our March meeting, Roy Frederick of The Engineered Wood Association presented “Shear Exhilaration: Lateral Design in Wood Framed Construction”, which detailed the process of designing shear walls. Thanks to Roy and all of our attendees!
Our April meeting features Brian Willig of Colliers Engineering & Design presenting “Aerial Structural Inspections Using Drones and AI”. Drones have proven useful in structural inspections–especially in places that are difficult for humans to reach. Brian will be providing an overview as well as some specific optional equipment and even AI used in conjunction with drones.”
