At our last monthly meeting, Amy Heilig with Dlubal Software Inc presented on Tensile Membrane Structure Design in RFEM 6. The presentation highlighted the capabilities of Dlubal’s software RFEM 6 for the analysis of tensile membrane structures. Amy worked through an example staged non-linear analysis in the software including pre and post processing of the finite element model. She also showed the capabilities of RWIND to determine the wind loads on the structure and mapped the wind pressures onto the RFEM 6 model.
Our next monthly meeting will be on May 18th and will be held in person at the Maggiano’s in Memorial City Mall. SEAoT will be releasing more details shortly, so stay tuned! I look forward to seeing everyone at out next monthly meeting!
